Teaching Experience

Nina has been an active vocal and piano teacher for the past decade in NYC.

She is proud to say that several students have performed solo in Carnegie Hall (Weill, Zankel, and Isaac Stern) as well as Symphony Space.  She also has helped students audition and become accepted into the Manhattan School of Music (college level), Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan, and into the Laguardia High School for the Performing Arts, where one of her many students there has gotten a lead role in their main musical.  Students have gone on to pursue singing through out their college years as vocal majors or minors, and have also become young professional singers. She is also proud to be a teacher and mentor of one of the finalists for the Hal Leonard Competition of 2022 that had over 1300 applicants from around the US and Canada.

Nina is a current faculty member at the Dwight School Conservatory throughout the week, and on Saturdays can be found teaching at the Mind-Builders Performing Arts Center in the Bronx, a non-profit organization for the Bronx Community. Nina also taught for many years at Music in Chappaqua where she originally discovered her love and passion for teaching.

Nina teaches privately all around the city and has had private recitals held at Steinway Hall.  If interested in lessons and fee inquiries, please email through the contact page.
